You look at the descent with dignity, hoping to be a guest on the white hillside. There is no designation any more, just the route, the moment<\/strong>. Finally the silences of your thoughts are there, you escape all surronding noise, then you dive into the depths of the infinite beauty of the white gold. It\u00b4s not about adrenaline or skill, it\u00b4s about to be one with oneself<\/strong>. You are just there, you become a part of everything. You are flying, there is no ego anymore. At the end of the run you stop. You have the feeling of awakening. The sense of satisfaction spreading out in your body and mind. This treasure you take with you in your heart.”<\/p>\n

Freeriding with\u00a0dr. snow<\/h3>\n

Freeriding is an attitude to life and a style of life to me, and I like to pass this feeling on to my guests. I am a freerider and skier with concentrated passion, who has made my skiing into a profession and vocation. Freeriding takes place in the wild nature<\/strong>, and at is best, with a lot of powder. Otherwise it is necessary to cope with the prevailing conditions.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, freeriding reqires skill and knoweledge. Avalanche knoweledge<\/strong>, route selection<\/strong>, weather, orientation<\/strong>, the right equipment<\/strong>, skiing technique<\/strong> just to name a few things. This is my business, and as a professional mountainguide I can give you this experinence in the snowy mountains. In our Freeride camps<\/strong> we deal with these issues, since it is important to have a certain level of knowledge if you like to go freeriding on your own or with friends. In the evening we learn theory, that\u00b4s important for freeriding, to be safe on one\u00b4s way. During the day we set the theory into practice.<\/p>\n

Bei den Freeride Camps fahren Skifahrer<\/strong> und Snowboarder<\/strong> in getrennten Gruppen. Die Theorieabende finden gemeinsam statt – Wissen & Lawinenkunde ist gleichsam g\u00fcltig f\u00fcr alle Teilnehmer.\u00a0<\/span>Die dr. snow Freeride Camps finden haupts\u00e4chlich im Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn<\/a> statt. Mit der Salzburg Super Ski Card haben wir jedoch auch Zugang zu anderen Skigebieten<\/strong> wie Maria Alm, Kitzb\u00fchel, die Wildkogel Arena, das Kitzsteinhorn<\/a>, das Gasteinertal uvm.<\/p>\n

In our freeride camps skiers<\/strong> and snowboarders<\/strong> ride in seperate groups, but we will do the theory together, because the knoweledge and avalanche awareness is the same for everybody. The dr. snow freeride camps are mainly held in Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn<\/a>. With the Salzburg Super Ski Card we also have access to other skiareas<\/strong> such as Maria Alm, Kitzb\u00fchel, Wildkogel Arena, Kitzsteinhorn<\/a>, Gastein Valley and much more.<\/p>\n

Requirements Basic Course

\n<\/span>this course is for those who have not yet so much or very little experience in off piste skiing. Your skiing is quite good, you feel safe on red and partly black runs and you ski quite fast as well. In this course we concentrate on the ski technique to improve your skills in off piste terrain and get you fit for the big \u201eFreeride Certificate\u201c.
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>You should be able to ski parallel on red runs without problems. Off piste experience is not necessary. <\/span><\/h4>\n

You have experience in off piste skiing and powderskiing. You ski black slopes parallel without any problem and you are always in control and balance. To join the \u201eFreeride Certificate\u201c course off piste skiing is required!<\/p>\n

Price: 4 days \u201eFreeride Certificate\u201c course \u20ac 510,– per person. Thursday \u2013 Sunday<\/p>\n

Procedure \u2013 \u201eFreeride Certificate\u201c<\/strong><\/p>\n

The \u201eFreeride Certificate\u201c course contains theory and practice in different spades like interpret the avalanche bullentin, snow science, avalanche awareness, tour strategy, orientation, freeriding\/equipment and searching with transceiver. Theory in the evenings and practice in the daytime on the mountain, ofcourse together with a lot of skiing.<\/p>\n

We are skiing in medium steep to steep terrain and smaller ascents can be possible. The goal with the \u201eFreeride Certificate\u201c is that you as a freerider will rase your standard of education to avoid mistakes and that you have the knoweledge to \u201emove\u201c in high altitude terrain and the snowy mountains in a safe way. But remember, there is never 100% safety in the mountains! \u00a0The \u201eFreeride Certificate\u201c is explicit not an official education or a license for freeriding, or even a guarantee for accident-free off piste skiing or freeriding in the mountains![\/vc_toggle][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
